Welcome to the Hawkeye Area Council

The Hawkeye Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, proudly serves the youth in Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn & Washington Counties. The Council provides programs to over 7,000 youth each year. As one of the area's largest youth programs, the BSA provides a program that builds character, teaches valuable life skills, and allows youth to have fun while learning.

2015 Summer Camp Brochure

The Hawkeye Area Council is diligently preparing for quality a 2015 summer camp season at the Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation (including Camp Wakonda & Camp Waubeek).

OA Spring Fellowship

Come and join many of the leaders in the Lodge to learn about the OA, start your regalia (Native American outfit), and play games! Spring Fellowship has lots of what Scouts enjoy most: FUN, FOOD, and FELLOWSHIP! Saturday night includes the Annual Pow-Wow and Auction. There will also be a silent auction for YOUTH ONLY.
