Conference/Business Facilities: For your gathering needs, the Allsop Center has three conference rooms, the great room and two breakout conference rooms.  The 1368 sq. ft. great room features a stunning 20' X 20' Stone City limestone fireplace, and can host 80 individuals.  Four of the 18 residential rooms can be converted into two 365 sq. ft. breakout conference rooms.  Each breakout room has a capacity of 20 individuals.  All three rooms have Internet capabilities.  The great room also is equipped with a large screen television VCR, and DVD player.  Other equipment is available upon request and availability.
Dining Facilities: Guests at the Allsop Center may use the Dakin Dining Hall during their stay.  It is just a short walk from the Allsop Center, and seats approximately 300 individuals.  Groups have the option of having their functions catered by Hy-Vee or preparing their own meals.  Groups opting to prepare their own meals will be charged a reasonable fee for using the kitchen.  Groups using Hy-Vee catering may have their meals served at the Allsop Center or Dakin Dining Hall.

Lodging Facilities:  If you are looking forward to a nature retreat but not necessarily to roughing it, Howard H. Cherry Scout Reservation is just the place for your group.  The Allsop Center provides affordable housing that will ensure your campers sleep well without being too luxurious so as to encourage them to hibernate in their rooms.  The center has 18 rooms with four beds in each.  All rooms are furnished with two new sets of bunk bed, 2 wardrobes, as well as a desk and chair.  Each room is wired for Internet usage.  Groups may use the rooms as quads, triples, doubles, or singles, as they see fit.

Although each room does not possess its own bathroom, private showers are available in the shared hall restrooms.  Laundry facilities and light preparation kitchen facilities are also available.
