Join Scouting

Be a part of the fun and adventure! Scouting provides an educational program for all youth that builds character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

The Hawkeye Area Council serves over 160 Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Venturing Crews and Explorer Posts throughout eastern Iowa and provides the Scouting Program to youth ages 5 through 20. Registration is a simple process and is determined by age or school grade.

  • Cub Scouts - boys and girls grades Kindergarten-5th
  • Boy Scouts - boys grades 6th-12th (boys and girls starting in February 2019)
  • Venturing - young men and women ages 13 - 21
  • Exploring - young men and women ages 14-21
