Bring a Friend to the Movies Week

Parents and Scout Leaders,

Once again this year Bruce Taylor at the Collins Road Theaters is working with the Hawkeye Area Council and he are hosting one of the Free Kids Movie Weeks. If you attend any of these movies you may have seen the council and Boy Scout logos on posters and flyers.

This year our sponsor week is August 9th-12th. This is in a little over 2 weeks. What we are encouraging everyone to do is to find a friend that is NOT in Cub Scouts, and bring them with you to the Movie. Our movie is The SpongeBob Square Pants Movie. It’s gonna be GREAT!

We need everyone to bring at least 1 friend to the movie. We will have a special prize drawing for Scouts that bring a friend that is not already in Cub Scouts. Make sure and wear your Cub Scout Uniform or Pack T-shirt and show off that you are a Scouting Family.
