Den Chief Training is a course designed to enhance the confidence and leadership skills of all Den Chiefs throughout the council. Den Chief training is recommended for all Boy Scouts who wish to work as a Den Chief in a Cub Scout den. The course is two hours in length. Tiger Cub den leaders, Cub Scout den leaders, Webelos den leaders, Cubmasters and pack committee members complete this training in approximately 2½ hours. A leader is considered trained upon completion of this training course for their current position as well as online completion of "youth protection training" and "this is scouting" training.
