2010 Camp Theme - Time Travelers
While traveling through time, you will enjoy the activities, sights, and sounds of that time. Activities will be held at two camps - historic Camp Waubeek and Camp Wakonda. Bear Scouts will have the opportunity to enjoy activities while they work on advancement requirements. Packs will be placed together in a campsite. The boys will be organized into Dens with a staff guide to rotate campers through the activity areas.
Thursday
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Registration in Camp Waubeek Program Shelter. Please do not arrive before 1:00 pm
- Scouts and parents will participate in orientation sessions, and set up their campsites. All youth are encouraged to take the pre-camp swim test.
- Campers will enjoy a great evening meal in Hanford Lodge, and then be entertained by the Howard H. Cherry camp staff at a fabulous campfire. The rest of your evening is free.
Friday – fun-filled day
- All three meals will be served in Hanford Lodge, Camp Waubeek. Wear the official Scout uniform to the evening meal.
- The Den Guide will lead the den through a rotation of program areas in the morning and afternoon, including such things as swimming, climbing wall, BB Gun shooting, Archery, and advancement areas.
Saturday
- A hot breakfast will be served, with packing and perhaps some activity time. You will leave after lunch.
Camp fees: (minimum leadership is 2 adults for a maximum of 8 boys, 1:4 ratio over that)
- May 1 is the deadline to apply for a Campership.
- $100 per Scout (includes t-shirt) & $45 per Leader on or before Tuesday, May 18
- $115 per Scout & $55 per Leader (after May 18). Registration closes July 2 to prepare for camp
- One camp shirt is included in the youth fee. Adults may order shirts for $10-$13 depending on size.
Notes
- BSA Annual Health and Medical forms A and C are required with registration. Physical form B is recommended.
- No open toed shoes except at shower house.
- Scout uniform – youth will be given a t-shirt to wear during the day, and everyone is to wear their Official Scout Uniform at the evening meal. (Leave detachable awards at home)
- Bring something to transport gear to campsite – a wagon, backpacks, etc.
- Boys should bring campfire ashes if have from previous years.
- All youth and adult medicines, except those for emergency use, are stored with Health officer.
- Bring a digital camera if you have one, to help us with publicity pictures for next year.

Advancement
- Scouts participating in this activity will have the opportunity to earn these advancement requirements.
Registration Instructions
- Each youth/adult partner attending should fill out this form and submit to their Pack leaders.
- The Pack leader will then submit the registrations online via the online registration link on this page.
