2010 Camp Theme - Time Travelers
While traveling through time, you will enjoy the activities, sights, and sounds of that time. Scouts will have the opportunity to enjoy activities while they work on advancement requirements. Packs will be placed together in a campsite. The boys will be organized into Dens with a staff guide to rotate campers through the activity areas
Thursday
- 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – Registration – Dakin patio area. Please do not arrive before 1:00 pm
- Scouts and parents will participate in orientation sessions, and set up their campsites. All youth are encouraged to take the pre-camp swim test.
- Campers will enjoy a great evening meal in Dakin Hall, and then be entertained by the Howard H. Cherry camp staff at a fabulous campfire. The rest of your evening is free.
Friday and Saturday – Two fun-filled days
- All meals will be served in Dakin Hall. Wear the official Scout uniform to evening meal.
- The Den Guide will lead the den through a rotation of program areas in the morning and afternoon, including such things as swimming, climbing wall, BB Gun shooting, Archery, and advancement areas.
- The Friday evening meal will be served in the dining hall, followed by an Interfaith Service at the Chapel. The rest of the evening is free. You may enjoy a campfire in your campsite fire ring.
- The Saturday evening meal will be a time for family members to join the campers. Prices are listed in the Leader/Parent Camp Guide.
- Everyone will then travel to the Campfire Area, for the closing campfire, with the Scouts participating. All are then dismissed for a safe trip home.
Camp Fees (minimum leadership is 2 adults for a maximum of 8 boys, 1:4 ratio over that)
- May 1 is the deadline to apply for a Campership. Form is under Scouting Forms, Cub Camping.
- $100 per Scout (includes t-shirt) & $45 per Leader on or before Tuesday, May 18
- $115 per Scout & $55 per Leader (after May 18). Registration closes June 25 to prepare for camp
- One camp shirt is included in the youth fee. Adults may order shirts for $10-$13 depending on size.
- BSA Annual Health and Medical forms A and C are required with registration. Physical form B is recommended.
Notes
- No open toed shoes except at shower house.
- Scout uniform – youth will be given a t-shirt to wear during the day, and everyone is to wear their Official Scout Uniform at the evening meal. (Leave detachable awards at home)
- Bring something to transport gear to campsite – a wagon, backpacks, etc.
- Boys should bring campfire ashes if have from previous years.
- All youth and adult medicines, except those for emergency use, are stored with Health officer.
- Bring a digital camera if you have one, to help us with publicity pictures for next year.

Advancement
Scouts participating in this activity will have the opportunity to earn these advancement requirements.
Registration Instructions
- Each youth/adult partner attending should fill out this form and submit to their Pack leaders.
- The Pack leader will then submit the registrations online via the online registration link on this page.
