Grant to Assist Hawkeye Area Council\'s "Each One Reach One" Mentor Program

The Hawkeye Area Council is pleased to announced that it has been chosen to receive funding from the President's Fund of The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation to support its Americorps partnership "Each One, Reach One" mentorship effort!

We thank the foundation for its support of community needs.  This effort will be supported through the Trailblazers service district of the Hawkeye Area Council.  Trailblazers serves over 700 youth in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City through partnerships with schools, churches, neighborhood groups and volunteers!

Online Rechartering Now Available

Effective November 1, the internet rechartering system is now active for all units in the Hawkeye Area Council.  

You may access the site here: https://scoutnet.scouting.org/ucrs/ui/home/. Choose the First Time User option to start your 2012 charter.

The annual recharter must be completed and turned in by the December roundtable.  For more information or questions please contact us.
