Hunters Safety Course

The Iowa State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Hawkeye Area Council have teamed up to offer a hunters safety course for registered youth Scouts and their siblings ages 11 and up.

Due to annual maintenance, the MyScouting and Internet Advancement systems will be unavailable from Friday, June 4 at 9pm until Sunday, June 6 at 11pm.  

Also note that due to high volumes of Scouters taking Youth Protection training that MyScouting.org has been experiencing delays.  The National Council expects to resolve this issue during the annual maintenance period.  Please try back later.

For specific assistance with MyScouting or Internet Advancement please contact the National Council by sending an e-mail to myscouting@netbsa.org with your logon user name and contact information. Please include your council name and headquarters city. The representatives are available between 7 a.m. (CT) and 7 p.m. (CT) Monday through Friday. You will receive a response by the close of business on the day following your inquiry.

The glitch that prevented the registration form for "Pitch for Scouting", Scout Night at the Kernels has been resolved and the registration is fully active.
