Sporting Clays is a fun way to bring shooting sports and Scouting together!  On Saturday, June 18th, the Hawkeye Area Council along with Highland Hideaway Hunting will present a special morning of clay shooting.  For $110.00 per shooter, a 10 station, 100 target shoot will be available.  Lunch and shells are also provided!

Net proceeds from the event will go to support Scouting outreach in Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.  Our morning event will be held at Highland Hideaway Hunting in Riverside, Iowa.  Registration opens at 8 a.m., the Clay Shoot begins at 9 a.m., Lunch will be served at 11:45!

Hunters Safety Course

The Iowa State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the Hawkeye Area Council have teamed up to offer a hunters safety course for registered youth Scouts and their siblings ages 11 and up.
