National Scout Jamboree
Since 1937 Scouts from across the United States and the world have been gathering at the Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree. The next National Jamboree will be held at Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia from July 26 - August 4, 2010.
Hawkeye Area Council will be represented at the Jamboree by three troops. The council will be represented by 108 Scouts and 13 adults. Wait list applications are still being accepted and can be downloaded here. (link: internal: forms page)

World Scout Jamboree
On July 27, 2011 the World Scout Jamboree will open in Rinkaby, Sweden for 12 days of Scouting adventure. Themed 'Simply Scouting' this world showcase will be the perfect opportunity to experience Scouting across all countries.
