Venturing
AGES: 14 - 20 years, co-ed
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years of age. A challenging high-adventure program for young men and women designed to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Venturing programs are developed around six experience areas: Citizenship, Leadership, Fitness, Social, Outdoor and Service. The program helps youth pursue special interests in areas such as sports, arts, hobbies, youth ministry, sea Scouting and outdoor adventure.

As a Venturer, I promise
to do my duty to God and help
strengthen America, to help others,
and to seek truth, fairness, and
adventure in our world.
